Sarka Babicka

Deafening drum roll… registration for #FBC15 is officially open! The wait is finally over and you can now get your hands on our Valentine special with solo or 2-4-1 tickets for the biggest (and dare we say best) international blogging conference yet.

There’s more news too! We’ve had to move the FBC dates from June to September as the original venue we had secured, The British Library, just could not accommodate all our hopes and ambitions for this year. Perhaps next year! You see, there’s a lot of boxes to be ticked when deciding on the perfect FBC venue and finding the ideal place with the right atmosphere is of upmost importance to us and our guests. And so we looked and we looked, and then we stumbled upon a gorgeous venue that includes what we’ve been seeking over the last couple of years, since our days at the beautiful Hempel.  And we think you’re going to love it too! Being a highly sought after venue for weddings and events, the only weekend remaining was in September. So we slept on it and then all agreed, no doubt about it, this is the venue to host #FBC15. Afterall, September is a great time of the year in London and if we’re blessed with good weather as we have been 99% of FBC time, then it’s sure to be another cracker! Tell us the venue already, we hear you say? Well, here it goes…

Food Blogger Connect 2015 will be hosted at the exquisite Chiswick House and Gardens from 25 to 27 of September!

Birthplace of the English landscape movement and inspiration for gorgeous gardens around the world, from Blenheim Palace to New York’s Central Park, it’s a very special and perfectly English oasis in this corner of West London. Originally built in 1729 by the third Earl of Burlington to showcase his art collection and impress his guests, Chiswick House is a beautiful neo-Palladian villa with a large, bright and airy marquee, surrounded by 65 acres of sweeping landscape and breathtaking vistas to make this FBC strEAT Party one not to miss.

Over the last six events, we’ve evolved from a small-scale afternoon gathering back in 2009 to a revelation-packed three-day event with hundreds of delegates and a myriad of industry experts trekking in from all corners of the globe. FBC has grown and blossomed into an outstanding celebration of the blogging community on UK soil, and we know Chiswick House is set to help make #FBC15 the most memorable and inspiring one to date.

The #FBC15 team is moving full steam ahead to put together a truly spectacular event for you. As us foodies are well aware, the key is in the preparation, so we’re starting early to create an event chock-full of unforgettable practical sessions, insightful talks, networking and feasting opportunities, all at the very heart of the UK’s buzzing food scene!

From accomplished bloggers seeking fresh inspiration to blogging newbies; from those looking to make a career in the food industry to those just wanting to dip their toe in the glistening blogging waters, #FBC15 has something to offer you all. Get ready for a flood of valuable information, packed into three days of sessions with industry greats, award-winning journalists and bloggers and an impressive array of professional, technical and creative experts, who can be counted on to share their experience, insight and secrets covering all aspects of food blogging and more` And don’t forget those interactive labs and workshops, encouraging questions, information exchange and learning.

The blogosphere doesn’t have to be a lonely place. If you plan on coming to FBC solo and don’t yet know any other bloggers, rest assured we’re a warm and welcoming bunch! FBC provides the opportunity to meet and spend time with fellow bloggers in person, which is so much more fun than simply connecting via social media.  So, for our solo attendees, that may not have connected with a buddy yet, we’ve also included an opportunity to purchase an early bird ticket!

And what better way to come together and talk shop than over delicious food and drink served up at the fabulous and near infamous FBC StrEAT Parties? We can’t wait to show you what we have in store for you and if the previous outdoor extravaganza’s are anything to go by expect this year to be even more satiating. During the entire weekend, a whole host of innovative and exciting street feeders from London and further afield will tempt attendees with a festival of flavours! Whether you’re vegan, carnivore or gluten-free, fear not as there’ll be something at the #FBC15 StrEAT Party to suit your tastes. We’ll also showcase a wide variety of food brands for bloggers to connect with, so stay tuned to discover which of your old favourites and new discoveries you’ll be bumping into come September!

Before we reveal all the delicious details though, we suggest you register before the price increases on Sunday March 1st. Full price tickets will be £299, so get in there quick to treat yourself to a solo pass or a half-price ticket by buddying up with another fellow blogger to nab the limited 2-4-1 Buddy Pass! We can’t wait to see you for another long weekend full of all things food, friends and fun!

Got any questions? Drop us a line by email and we’ll get back to you with all the additional information you may need.

And while the programme is almost fully formed, we’re still taking in suggestions for speakers and talks, so go ahead, suggest someone, and yes, you can suggest yourself too!
