Order online gourmet with EatFirst in #FBC15 Goodiebags!

It is a pleasure to welcome on-line gourmet restaurant EatFirst (@EatFirst) for the first time to #FBC15! Find out how you can connect and work with EatFirst.

EatFirst began a year ago, delivering hot lunches to Central London offices in 15 minutes. Fast forward to now and it’s now an online restaurant, delivering chef-designed dishes to homes and offices in London, zones 1-3. Customers can pre-order by 4pm for same day delivery or anytime for the rest of the week and can even select a delivery time that suits them. Our Michelin-trained chefs cook the meals, we deliver them chilled so they stay fresh. We provide instructions on how to heat the meals in the oven or microwave in under 10 mins. We’re a convenient service, that enables people with busy lifestyles to eat well and at a time that fits around their schedule.
Connecting Brands
How did you hear about FBC? Tell us why you would like to take part in FBC this year and how you will be featuring your product or brand to connect with the community of bloggers?

We discovered FBC through Twitter and immediately knew we wanted to be involved. As we’re a food company and work a lot with bloggers, this event is very targeted for us. We’re inserting £5 off vouchers into the FBC goodie bags for visitors to use and try our dishes!

FBC registered attendees from around the world will be going home knowing more about your product and its flavour! How can other non registered bloggers get their hands on your product? Where can they find it if they wanted to order or connect with you?

They can head to our website www.eatfirst.co.uk, download our app (iOS and Android) or visit our social media pages (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) to follow updates and learn more about us. If they would like to get in touch, they can email fresh@eatfirst.co.uk or tweet us!

Are you a fan of food, travel, lifestyle blogs? Has FBC encouraged you to follow bloggers? If so, who/what type of bloggers do you follow closely or hope to connect and perhaps work with? How can bloggers and brands work better together?Do you work with any bloggers currently or plan to? What do you look for in a blogger when searching to work with bloggers?

We’re constantly in contact with bloggers (usually food or lifestyle) and we love having them try us and featuring us on their blogs or posting about us on social media. We really only communicate with bloggers based in London as they’re the ones who can try us, however we’d love to hear from anyone! We hope this event will showcase our brand in the right way and to a targeted audience.

Industry Partner FBC15

How has social media helped you connect and engage more with a wider audience and particularly bloggers?

Our reach isn’t that big currently so we’re really pushing for more engagement on social media. The bloggers we have contacted in the past however have mainly been sourced through Twitter or Instagram.

What positive effect are food, travel, or lifestyle bloggers having on the industry? What do you value in a blog? To achieve a successful blog (from an industry perspective) what comes first – the dishes, the styling, the photography or the words?

We have a food blog aquickbite.eatfirst.co.uk, we cover many topics to do with food, inc: recipes, health, history, tech, trends and lifestyle. To make a good post you need a good title and even better image – and ‘evergreen’ content.
