A big warm welcome to FBC Alumni Jo’s kitchen (@Jos_Kitchen) joining us at the next blogger and industry pilgrimage taking place the 25th – 27th of September at the Chiswick House and Gardens!! Step into her kitchen and discover more about Jo before #FBC15!
What are you looking forward to learning and enjoying at FBC this year? Have there been any significant changes or developments to your career/blog since last year’s conference?
Since last year conference, I have become a lot more professional and am now having my recipes regularly featured by brands. My recipes were also featured in the Midlands biggest newspaper, the Express & Star in December 2014.
Is blogging your full time job? Would you like to become a full time blogger and focus your professional career in this area?
Blogging is my part time job and I plan to make it my full time job in the next year. I am a mum to two boys and I really want to spend my time with them at home which I can do if I blog professionally.
What’s your ultimate blogging dream – where do you plan to take it in the future?
I would love to write my own cookbook based on family friendly recipes that are easy and could be made when you are short on time.
What’s your signature dish?
My favourite recipe from the last year is my Chocolate Easter Piñata cake Which other bloggers do you follow most closely? As an FBC alumni, have you stayed in touch with any bloggers and industry folk you met at previous FBC’s? How was this helped in your own blogging throughout the year?
I have stayed in touch with bloggers I met at last year’s FBC and my blogging has improved because of their support and friendship.
Do you have a favourite kitchen tool or appliance – either a new addition or a trusted old favourite? What’s on your wish-list right now?
My Magimix food processor is my current favourite but I am looking forward to receiving my new oven and hob from Belling soon!
