Meet Paul Richardson of Get Me Cooking

Paul Richardson from Milton Keynes, England runs the cook community site Get Me Cooking (@getmecooking).   A web portal and blog that helps people blog bout food and share recipes.  Get me cooking enables you to find recipes online, based on your personal food profile.

What celebrity or celebrity chef would you most like to break bread with? Why?
Jamie Oliver – I think his work on school food and getting the UK to cook is amazing 
How many cookbooks do you own?
5 + Internet (!). Who needs cookbooks anymore! J 
What’s been your ultimate meal to date?
Mesa – in a mountain in Lebanon! We had lambs testicles (cooked and uncooked!) 
What would your last meal be?
A full rack of pork ribs with sweet potato chips 
What’s the next big thing that’s going to hit the food scene?
Electronic payments within restaurants. In terms of food – more organic produce 
What’s your favourite part of the food blogging process? And the most negative?
Enabling food bloggers to make their blogs better. // When food bloggers with great content don’t care about presentation 
What are you most looking forward to about FBC12?
Learning about new tools and techniques for food blogging
Do you blog full time? What’s your day job?
Not yet. But my brother has been working on GetMeCooking for a year now! I want to quit my day job to work on it too! Then we want to employ staff… I currently work in IT as an SAP BASIS Administrator 
Future aspirations for the blog?
We have a lot of plans for GetMeCooking and our plugin. Plus we will soon be releasing PlateJobs, which will be a job site for candidates and recruiters!
