Supernatural is a fresh, innovative smoothie and juice company which has found a home in trendy East London. Bringing a healthy and delicious drop of juicy goodness to this year’s Food Blogger Connect!

Rather than come from a health and nutrition background, we approached juice bars with our own experience and knowledge drawn from years of cocktail mixology. We looked at what was happening with juice bars and realised that the market was being flooded with overpriced drinks that really don’t taste great. But we knew from our experience that flavours could be balanced much better whilst retaining the health benefits associated with fresh juice and smoothies. So we worked with nutritionists to ensure that we had the healthiest tastiest drinks on the market. And with a starting price of £3.95 we’re also one of the best value options.
We initially trialled our method at Maltby Street Market where it went down a storm and within a month we had an offer from Selfridges to launch properly in their store in London.

How did you hear about FBC?

I received an e-mail about the event, one thing led to the next and here I am!

What other events/markets do you take part in throughout the year?
We currently have a concession within Sourced Market in St Pancras, and two pop-ups open, one in Great Portland Street underground station and one in Paddington Central on Sheldon Square.
Each year we work with selected partners like Real Food Festival and TFL to co-ordinate markets, events and pop-ups to push the brand and give ourselves the opportunity to test out different areas and markets.
We try and take part in as many festivals as possible as well as weekend long events. Anything on the Southbank is always great for us as well as medium sized festivals in suburb areas.

If you could cook for anyone – dead or alive, cook/ celebrity/ public figure – anyone!

It’s got to be Plato & Aristotle! I mean, why not?

Are you a fan of food, travel, lifestyle blogs?

Yeah, I love them and find them very inspirational.

What challenges do you think traders face in establishing their set ups and achieving success? How do you see the street food revolution growing or changing?

It’s hard out there, but I’ve been in hospitality all my adult life and absolutely love it.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to join the street trader scene?

Prepare for earlier starts and later nights than anyone you know, keep at it through the shit days and you’ll see whatever you’re doing grow into something huge.

If you could tell people to eat one thing more often what would it be and why?

If I told you that, there would be none left for me.

Be sure to check them out. Visit for details of where to find them.
