It’s here! Bethany Kehdy’s The Jewelled Kitchen Cookbook Launch at #FBC5

As if being the fifth anniversary wasn’t reason enough to party, #FBC5 is also home to another major celebration. After a day filled with food and fun, Saturday evening will host FBC founder Bethany Kehdy’s  (@Bethanykd) debut cook book launch!

The Jewelled Kitchen, featuring an array of mouth watering dishes from the Middle East, with a dollop of Bethany’s own unique inspiration and flair thrown in, hits bookshops on July 4th and she’ll have copies at #FBC5 ready to sign.

With bloggers coming from all over the world to feed each other’s success, we’re so excited about all of you joining us for this special event, the perfect audience to share it with and to thank you for all your support.

In addition to tasty treats served up straight from the book, the Middle East is brought to South London in a traditional and stunningly decked out tent courtesy of  Moroccan Bazaar. What’s more, Wines of Lebanon will be showcasing the country’s increasingly well-respected vintages; Lidgates, London’s favourite butcher on hand with generous offerings of organic meats along with wonderful dips, sauces and even the region’s famous za’atar herb mix will be provided courtesy of Terra Rossa; and Seggiano will be there with olive oils and pestos along with lovely olive oil from My Olive Branch used in the recipes. Lead sponsor of FBC, Chobani, will be providing that Middle East staple – yoghurt – such a key component in so many of Bethany’s recipes, the two combining to show just why Chobani has taken the States by storm. Moreover, for those wanting a taste of something from even further East, Lovedesh Wood Fire Curry will be on hand too with the launch of her morish curry chicken!

So, yalla! Join us for an evening of food-filled celebrations amongst friends as we give back to the community which has supported us so well over the years! As we say in Lebanon “Kele w nsee hammeek” – “Eat and you shall forget your worries.”
