Originally from Luxembourg, Anne (@anneskitchentv) is a London-based food journalist, photographer, broadcaster and cookbook author. She started her blog Anne’s Kitchen in February 2010, in order to keep track of her recipes and practice her food styling and photography.
The blog quickly took over Anne’s life, and so she decided to come up with a strategy that would enable her to make a career from her blog. Drawing on all her various talents, Anne eventually managed to get commissions for a cookbook and a TV show. In 2013, Anne published her first cookbook Anne’s Kitchen, alongside a 12-part cookery TV show, in which she’s exploring British cuisine and London food trends. The show aired primetime Friday nights on RTL Luxembourg, while the book became the number 1 bestseller in Luxembourg for three months running.
In the same year, Anne was awarded a Digital Food award by Food & Wine magazine in the US – for her use of quality video and photos on Anne’s Kitchen. Anne is a member of the Guild of Food Writers in the UK.
Currently, Anne is filming the second season of her TV show and working on her second cookbook, which will both come out in autumn this year.
Anne Faber is speaking at #FBC14 about “spotting a niche and going blog to multi media.
