Prior to running Mystery, Richard worked for a number of hospitality and retail businesses specializing in developing new concepts. He commenced his career in retail joining Allied Domecq as a Sales and Marketing graduate, and then spent over 10 years working on a wide range of brands including, Beefeater Gin, Teachers Whisky, and then as the New Concepts Controller at Whitbread.
The session will explore what’s in a name, the value of brands, developing great brand experiences and how to create compelling brands in hospitality and how to craft brands with genuine character and personality. We will also explore how to define your brands positioning, brand archetypes, a brands values and how to develop engaging brand statements.
