#FBC14 Goes ‘Grand’ at Battersea Arts Centre! Register for Hungry Bird Pass

Congratulations, you’ve made it through the most depressing month of the year: January! You’re now (hopefully) done with your detox, no longer AS broke from the holidays and starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Was it that bad? Now that February is here, it really means summer is just around the corner –or closer at least– which makes it the right time to start planning the sunnier months ahead!

There’s one summery thing we’re very much looking forward to, and that’s our annual FBC conference in London, taking place the 6th, 7th and 8th of June, 2014.

For those FBC Alumni who blessed us with your presence last year at #FBC5, we’ve got some pretty good news and are delighted to announce that this year’s growing community event will once again take place at  . . .

Battersea Arts Center

Yep, you guessed it, The Battersea Arts Centre (@Battersea_Artssituated just on Lavender Hill SW11 5TN in Clapham.

Grand Hall and Foyer 013

With such growing interest eager to embark on the 6th annual FBC event, we’ve upgraded to a bigger Grand Hall to better receive our guests and to allow Pluto (@Pluto_BAC) the BAC’s resident cat, more napping space amongst the inspiring community of international bloggers! And, to celebrate holding FBC at the Battersea Arts Centre (@Battersea_Arts), another round of discounted full weekend passes are on offer starting as of February for £199! You can register for your Hungry Bird Weekend Pass here.

Community is key to us and that’s what keeps us fueled. While food is and will always be our main focus, this June, as we’ve previously announced, we’re joining forces with the rest of the blogosphere and are opening the doors for travel, tech, lifestyle and fitness bloggers from every corner of the globe to satiate their raging appetites, while connecting and networking outside of the more studious confines of the grand conference classroom hall. Blogging doesn’t have to be a lonely place. This mélange will permit us all to gain further understanding, skills and perspectives in fields that are still quite hazy to us, and what better way to all come together and learn from each other than around delicious food & drinks on display at the FBC StrEAT Party?

FBC Alumni Bloggers at StrEAT Party

Over the span of the weekend, the FBC StrEAT Party will return with some of London’s most innovative and exciting feeders joining in mass, serving up the kind of food and drink that shows why the Capital is really starting to make a name for itself as a global food hub. But it doesn’t stop there, we will have food and drink on offer from not just in and around London, but enthusiastic feeders from afar, providing attendees with a festival of flavours to bite into. And if dietary preferences are of any concern, rest assured the #FBC14 StrEAT Party includes options for food lovers on all horizons from vegans to meat lovers for a feast you’ll struggle to forget and that won’t leave you hungry! We’ll also be showcasing the pick of the brunch in the industry to further connect bloggers and brands, so stay tuned for upcoming announcements to discover a taste of what you’ll experience come June!

Shopper Approved is based on the powerful concept called ‘social proof’, which states that:

When a potential customer goes online to buy a product or service,
    they actually want and actively
look for reassurance that they’re making the right decision. And the way they get that assurance
    is
from other customers’ ratings, feedback, and reviews.

This is why statistically, 77% of online shoppers turn to consumer reviews
    before they decide to buy!

There’s a reason why Amazon, eBay, Sears, and pretty much every other major ecommerce site have customer
ratings and reviews integrated into their website. It’s because online reviews have been proven to
    increase
conversion, increase average transaction amounts, improve customer satisfaction, and even lower product
    returns!

Any software running on the PC’s regular operating system is completely by-passed, so
you have no interference from it. Some quest marker setups, such
as those in which you must find an item in a general area, will prevent the use of this command.
