I had a great time at the event yesterday. It was really good to meet everyone and exchange thoughts and ask questions. Such a diverse range of people too!

I had an amazing time at the event on Saturday. It was wonderful to meet other bloggers and the speakers were fabulous. More time to mingle and chat would have been great though.
A truly exceptionnal event! Kudos to all the organisers and the speakers – all of their presentation reflected the spirit of their blogs in a very powerful way. I particularly appreciated Jeanne’s run-down on copyright! Never even thought about it! Enlightening.
Oh, and thanks to Kang and Meeta, now I want one of those cameras. Where’s Santa when you need him…
At the risk of sounding like a party pooper, I’d like to mention the following:
Although I enjoyed every dish I tried, I don’t think the meal at Levant was worth £30. For that kind of money I expect a set menu at places like Coq d’Argent. If it was £20 for food and £10 for the conference/speakers I wouldn’t have had a problem.
I feel strongly that all mobiles/communication devices should be switched off during future presentations because I found it (tweeting/texting/whatever) incredibly rude and disrespectful to the speakers, not to mention distracting to active listeners in the audience.
Hopefully, next time the conference will be longer so that the speakers won’t feel rushed because I’d really like them to share their wealth of information with us in a relaxed way.
With that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing new faces and meeting bloggers I’ve known for a long time face to face. I think the organisers did a fine job at putting such a great event together in such short notice and I’m sure next year it will be even bigger and better! Just a shame I can’t make it because it’s a week or two away from my due date.

Loved it, loved being there, and enjoyed all the topics covered. ISO is still technical stuff for me, but I hope to get there one day! Besides, would have never imagined meeting all these great bloggers under one roof.
