Meet Sally – The Chief of Tweets For #FBC5

Just as FBC continues to grow every year, so does our team and we’re delighted that Sally Prosser (@MyCustardPie), by way of Dubai, is coming on board for #FBC5. No stranger to the conference, as an FBC veteran herself, it is wonderful to have a familiar face become a part of the family.

For those who haven’t met Sally at one of our previous conferences, you may well know her from her fantastic blog, My Custard Pie. As a long time resident of the UAE, she has watched the city grow around her, embracing the country’s essence by embracing its multi-cultural food scene without ever having lost her British identity, a love of the countryside and a obsession with custard. She also champions down-to-earth cooking with fresh local, organic sustainable ingredients (sand anyone?).

Sally has joined #FBC5 as our new ‘Chief Tweet’ and will use her passion and expertise in the power of social media to develop and expand the already loyal and engaged core of followers that we have built up over the last four and a bit years. She will undoubtedly become an integral member of this event, a fitting celebration to reflect the excitement of our fifth anniversary!

Not content merely to bring in more bloggers to the conversation, Sally will also be interacting with the most influential and cutting edge individuals and companies in the industry. As such, she’ll be sweating her socks off (and not just because she’s living in a desert) to maximise the engagement between bloggers, brands, traders and speakers for the conference, making #FBC5 the most inclusive conference thus far. She’s looking forward to getting to know more of you on and offline and hearing what you’d like to see most at FBC5.
