No blogging isn’t my full time job. First and foremost I’m a mum to a little firecracker of a 2 year old. This takes up 95% of my time, blogging is squeezed into the small window of quiet time I get when he sleeps. Yep, I love to become a full time blogger when I can focus more of my time on it.
My motivation to start blogging came from moving to Switzerland and feeling like I needed an outlet for the more creative side of my nutrition work. The inspiration for my blog posts come from trying to make healthy food taste as good as it possibly can, from seasonal foods available and my own curiosity (can I make a healthy version of a Snickers bar?).
Definitely my healthy chocolate brownies. They always go down a storm. They’re really easy to make and vegan.
The people I follow are My New Roots, Deliciously Ella, Green Kitchen Stories, I Quit Sugar/Sarah Wilson and Hemsley & Hemsley.
Tell us something you’ve learned from reading other blogs you probably wouldn’t know otherwise?
Their blogs have made me more aware of the importance of the photography and look of the post. They’ve also helped me find my own voice as well as inspire me with ideas.
My food shopping comes from a wide range of sources, from my local egg man (who has hens in his garden) and my local organic farm that sells purely grass fed meat. My main supermarket is Waitrose but I also get more specific foods from health food shops and amazon.
Do you follow trends?
The main blogging food trend that I follow is the low sugar one, real food. For me this guides my work.

For me, the ultimate food heaven is an Italian feast, shared with my loved ones, overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
Food hell? McDonalds.
