    J’adore les steak and kidney pies, un bonne assiette de liver and bacon, des fish and chips avec la worcestershire sauce (une tuerie !) sans oublier l’apple pie with custard… miam ! Tous ces plats me rappellent ma jeunesse lorsque j’étais étudiante en Angleterre. Ahhh ! que de bons souvenirs liés à la cuisine britannique pourtant si méconnue !

    When we lived in the US I used to beg visiting friends to bring me McVities chocolate digestives and Maltesers – unobtainable over there. My husband used to crave British bacon. The stuff you get in the US is foul & tastes of chemicals. And don’t get me started on that plastic American cheese. We’re spoiled for choice with excellent cheeses here in the UK, my favourite is Stilton.
