What motivated you to blog about food?

I didn’t want to repeat recipes to different people each time, now people can find them on my blog.

What’s your day job?

I am a food chemist.

Any comical kitchen failures?

Making onion charcoal in 30 seconds in the microwave.

How many cookbooks do you own?

I don’t have a clue, I stopped counting after 100.

Favorite kitchen tool/appliance?

Ice cream scoops, I own 3 different sizes.

Who is your favourite celeb chef and why?

A German cook Vincent Klink, he is a great TV cook and doesn’t use any convenience products and doesn’t sell any with his name.
