FBC2010 was a truly international experience, thanks to you! We are so thrilled that you attended. You made it such a wonderfully special experience.

From what you’ve been saying, we gather it’s been as much of a sensational weekend for you as it has been for us. Never ones to be happy wasting time where food blogging is concerned, we are already planning another outrageously cool weekend for next year. When? First week of June. We think that’s a good week to claim… No?

Mark your calendars foodie people because the weekend of June 3rd, 4th & 5th 2011 will once again have London abuzz with mad, food centric, life-loving food bloggers nibbling away at all kinds of good food and information.

We have set up a twitter account for FBC which you can now use to follow all upcoming FBC updates directly. The FBC twitter handle is @bloggerconnect. Also, Sarah of Maison Cupcake has set up a FBC10 twitter list that compiles the twitter handles of all this year’s attendees in one place.

Also we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes and please answer this survey about your experience at FBC10. We are very keen to make the next one bigger and better and the only way we can do that is if you tell us what you think and what you want.

We would also like to round-up all the pictures everyone took over the FBC weekend in one place. So, if you’re happy to let us share the images on this website, please feel free to email them to us and we will add them to our photo gallery.

Speakers Update- Since our last update we have two more award-winning guest speakers join the speaker panel. Please join us in welcoming Julia Parsons of the award-winning food blog Slice of Cherry Pie and Jaden Hair of the award-winning food blog Steamy Kitchen. Julia will share her insight on “How To Get Published“ and Jaden will share her insight and answer all those questions you have about “Blog Monetization.” We really can’t wait as this year is really going to be jam-packed with a whole ton of information. Don’t know what will burst first, our minds, or our stomachs?

Donate a Couch- The lovely Sari of Cooking Your Dream came up with a great idea of donating her couch to out-of-town food bloggers. Thus far she’s got one couch left (how many couches do you have Sari?). Any other Londoners willing to put up fellow food bloggers that will be making the journey from afar? O.k, it might sound a bit weird and they might be strangers, but they are not complete strangers since for the most part we follow each other’s blogs. Right? It’s also a great way to better mingle and get to know each other. What a way to build a community too! So, if you’re willing to donate your couch then please leave us a comment here and we’ll help get the word out!

FBC Costs- A few of you have emailed the FBC committee asking about the price rise and if there was a chance the price was going to come down as you were eager to book. We were hoping to have a few more sponsors on board so that we could reduce the overall costs and pass it on to every attendee but unfortunately this did not happen this year. To clarify, the current ticket costs do not reflect all the costs that are associated with FBC and all of us on the committee have worked hard to make this event a high quality, information packed success. We believe in the need for such a conference in the U.K and Europe and that is our main driving force.

Tickets- There is still time to plan and a few more tickets left to book. Weekend Passes are limited and if you can’t make it out for the whole weekend then the second best thing is to book for the Saturday event.

It’s Food Blogger Connect time again, we heard you and put together what’s going to be a really phenomenal weekend! Two and half days jam-packed with food, fun, roundtables and hands-on workshops, networking, awards and some really cool prizes.

Food Blogger Connect 2010 will take place on June 4th, 5th & 6th in London. You don’t want to miss it!

You will notice that the cost has gone up from last year as you will also notice there is so much more on offer! Dinner, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, BBQ, blind folded wine tasting, cocktails and brunch are all offered before, after and in between the information-packed workshops and roundtables. There will be prop swaps, awards and many prizes like cupcake decorating classes from Bea’s of Bloomsbury worth over £100 each! And if you thought last year’s goodie bags were outa-this-world, then baby you’ve seen nothing yet!

Spreading FBC out over Friday, Saturday and Sunday allows you all the chance to actively participate in ways we couldn’t last year – not only hands-on workshops, but Q & A during and after each discussion. We will all have loads of time over the three days to meet, get to know each other, exchange, share, network. For everyone’s convenience we have been able to break down the event into three days so you can attend what and when you like – just one day or two or the whole weekend.

For some of you who attended last year’s event, you’ll know first hand how, even in one short day, we all learned so much and how much fun we had meeting and getting to know each other. Now just think of that but times three! You don’t need to look twice at the itinerary to know that you are going to come out more prepared and inspired than ever to turn your blog into an even bigger success, whatever your vision!

It’s finally here! The moment everyone’s been waiting for… Registration is now open for FBC 2010 and the countdown has begun!

If you heard about Food Blogger Connect 2009’s resounding success and thought that it couldn’t get any better, then hold onto your plates and get ready for Food Blogger Connect 2010, because, baby, it does!

THE International Food Blogger event of the year, FBC 2010, will be bigger and better than ever! We’ve put together a truly incredible weekend jam-packed with networking, exchanging ideas, food and fun in exciting London and specifically tailored for the requirements of the food blogger: an information-filled conference, 2 days worth of sessions presented by an accomplished panel of world-renown, award winning food bloggers covering a wide array of topics, each at the heart of food blogging. The speakers will be here to share their experience, insight and secrets into important food blogging issues, each session to be followed by interactive workshops and roundtable discussions, to encourage asking questions, share information and learn from the best!

The Event will kick off on Friday June the 4th at The Hempel Hotel with a meet & greet, wine tasting, cocktail dinner, and a session on how to monetize your blog. Saturday June 5th will be held at The Rooftop Gardens and will be jam-packed with information from award-winning guest speakers…Oh and we’ve managed to squeeze in some fun too! We will be finishing things off in true food blogger style on Sunday the 6th of June at The Hempel Hotel in London with a few more sessions, awards, awesome prizes and of course how could we forget brunch!
