One of the things we’re most excited about this year is the #FBC12 Market. This is the first time in the history of the conference we’ve done this, so it will make this year extra special. Throughout the weekend, the #FBC12 Market area will provide the ultimate opportunity for food and drink traders to showcase their wares. It will also be the perfect place for attendees to mingle in between sessions and workshops, connect with each other and, of course, try some of the wonderful food being produced. As the largest socialising aspect of the event, it will provide immense engagement for all involved.
From demos, masterclasses, tastings and catered meals there is still a heap of openings if you want to get involved. Here you can make the most of some fantastic product placement and publicity opportunities that stretch far outside the mere confines of London as #FBC12 is the leading international food blogging conference in the world. A top all the social media exposure, this is the chance to strut your stuff in front of some of the most influential bloggers from around the globe.
So, if you’re a food or beverage trader, a restaurant looking to do a pop-up, or even a chef wanting to get your name out there, we have the market for you. Get in contact with us to come play during our social hours and feature your product.
We’ve already got some super exciting enterprises signed up for the #FBC12 Market. Toma Mexicana will be cooking up some authentic juicy steak tacos, crispy seasoned chicken flautas and creamy potato and cheese flautas. Vinn Goute will be there too serving up some exotic creole food from the Seychelles alongside some of the very best British street food traders such as Mussel Men, Well Kneaded, Tongue ‘n Cheek, Russian Revels, Benjammin’s Caribbean and more. Meanwhile, come check out cooking demos from MyArganic, Maunika Gowardhan from Cook in a Curry, Urvashi Roe with the Better Breakfast, Nick Holzherr with the Whisk team and Bev Shaffer with VitamixUK in the smoothie bar.
The #FBC12 Market isn’t just for food traders, and we’re expecting a thirsty crowd to have their needs quenched by the likes of Wines of Lebanon, Bellini Italy Cocktails and Vestal Vodka. Also in attendance will be food blogger Alessio Fangano, who will be operating a food science lab with some weird and wonderful kitchen experiments for us all to marvel at. The #FBC12 Market will also have a swap stall so bring your cookbooks, props, materials, linens or anything else you want to exchange (except perhaps spouses and children…)
And. if you haven’t already registered to attend you can do so at http://fbc12.eventbrite.com/. With so much cool stuff going on, it’s really going to be a weekend to bite into!
