David Lebovitz (@davidlebovitz) began his website in 1999 on a newfangled thing (at the time) called “the internet”, and is constantly surprised to find that now people from all over the world are reading it. David spent most of his life in the back of restaurant kitchens, making desserts, most notably at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California.
David is the author of six cookbooks, which range in subjects from making ice cream to all about chocolate. He has also worked on an app guide and e-book, for which he was forced to visit nearly 300 pastry and chocolate shops in Paris to sample and list them for this comprehensive travel guide and app. (He is still recovering from chocolate overload!)
Having moved from San Francisco to Paris nearly a decade ago, David currently writes about the city of Paris for his blog, which is about food, travel, culture, with miscellaneous ramblings on topics that people may or may not find interesting. He is working on a book about his adopted home…which he’s really behind on.
David Lebovitz is the keynote speaker at #FBC5 and will be talking about “Blogging: Then, Now, and There”
He’s also joining part with Jaden Hair in celebration of the 5th anniversary with the panels: “What Does Successful Blogging Mean, Anyway?” and “Creating Content That Travels”
Additionally, David will be offering up his time with food bloggers in his one on one “Speed blog sessions”. Keep an eye out for them as they are available through giveaways only.
