In 2009, Bethany decided it was long overdue for a real food community to come together- not just in the US. The inspiration for FBC came after Bethany was unable to make it out to the many food blogging conferences that are frequently held Stateside. So, it seemed a natural step to create a central event for those in Europe, and things have just grown from there. When she’s not busy planning conferences, Bethany spends her time concocting Middle Eastern delicacies for her popular food blog Dirty Kitchen Secrets, shooting food porn for cookbooks & magazines, writing food and travel articles, as well as leading culinary tours across Lebanon.
