Addison Lee (@AddisonLeeCabs) are proud partners of #FBC15 this year.
As some of you may have already seen announced on Instagram (along with all the photos of goodie bag preparation – if you haven’t seen these, take a look!), we are partnering with @addisonleecabs to help you #rideinstyle this weekend. Make sure to download the @AddisonLeeCabs app and enter promo code ‘RIDEINSTYLE’ for £15 when booking or pre-booking your journey to and from @Chiswick_House across the weekend.
And however you choose to make the pilgrimage this year to FBC, take a selfie on your way (#rideinstyle @AddisonLeeCabs) to get an additional chance into all of our giveaways, including GLORIOUS! Foods’ giveaway of a trip to Mumbai!
Right, time for a Q+A with Addison Lee…
Tell us a little bit about who you are, your influence and your inspirations.
We began in 1975 with the belief that taxis and minicabs could be done better. By combining the latest technologies with traditional customer service values, we disrupted the industry (before disrupting industries had even become a thing). Our iconic black cars have been on the road ever since. We are now in 350 cities worldwide and transport over 10 million passengers each year in London alone.
Tell us why you would like to take part in FBC this year.
It is our first time partnering with FBC and we couldn’t be happier. It is a great way to connect with some influential people in the online community. We currently work with a number of bloggers in London and we see FBC as a great way to improve and grow our current relationships.
How can bloggers connect with you?
Do you work with any bloggers currently or plan to?
Yes, as we said before we love working with bloggers and are always looking to make new connections. And who doesn’t love food?
How has social media helped you connect and engage more with a wider audience and particularly bloggers?
Through social we are able to be part of conversations that previously we wouldn’t have known about. It really has opened up a whole new world of opportunities.
What positive effect are food, travel, or lifestyle bloggers having on the industry?
They get the inside scoop. Press can sometimes feel a bit tailored, but with bloggers you get an honest feeling. It has given brands something new to think about and it is something at Addison Lee that we really appreciate.
