What are you looking forward to learning and enjoying at FBC this year?
As a complete newbie to all this, I am really looking forward to meeting all the people and characters behind the avalanche of culinary prose we have all grown to love, and maybe pick up a few tips and recipes
Is blogging your full time job? If not, what is your day job?
I run a TV and app company as my day job, and hope to bring that together with the best of the blogging community out there
What are your future aspirations – both for the blog and for any related content?
I would love to build a food community around the recipe manager app I have launched, bringing together local cooks and food afficionados in far-flung corners of the earth
Which other bloggers do you follow most closely?
I love Sally Hurst’s blog chefsallyjane.com as the Russian side resonates with me, but there are so many others I love too
What’s your idea of food hell?
Food hell is anything with pears in it…sorry guys, it just is.
How is your lifestyle shaped by food?
Some say it with words, some with flowers, some with gifts, but how many of us use food as our love language? Count me in
Do you have a favourite kitchen tool/appliance?
My favourite kitchen tool is my ceramic peeler – cuts through anything, but a close second has to be the rubber spatula which moulds itself to every crevice of a container – no waste whatsoever.
